Lords Of The Swords

This August was the third Lords Of The Swords competition. It was a great laugh here are some photos and an edit. The first day started with some fingerboarding. And a trip to romford which i didn't take any pictures of unfortunately.

Saturday was spent in Colchestor we started off at the Hythe barrier and then went on to the DIY gem known as Antifornia!

The next stop was the Col-Bowl where it started raining and continued to for most of the day.

Whilst at the Col-Bowl Sam was getting a tattoo done so we all met up at the Art centre where it continued to rain.

A few of us then went to Castle Park to go see the ramp that Ramprage had made for a festival. Due to the rain we couldn't skate it which was a shame as the ramp looked fun.

We ended the day at Ramprage which was spent resting more than skating after a long day.

Sunday was the final day and we started off skating Saffron Walden. The park wasn't too busy and there was quite a few characters about like these guys.

The second stop was to Thaxted Mini which I think is one of the best mini ramps in Essex. Jack had no problem grinding the tight vert extension.

We then went to Dunmow skatepark which consisted mostly of buttboarding and scooter abuse.

After that we went to the DIY spot Urbside which is great fun. We were all tired so we didn't stay long.My camera head died by this point so no photos or footage. We then went to Braintree to meet up with another team and talk about the weekend. When we finished talking we decided to go home after the long weekend and call it a rap. Lords Of The Swords 2012 was excellent. Let's hope Lords Of The Swords 2013 is even better!

Board

Got this board off my mate Rob. It's an early 90's shape think it might be a James Kelch deck by the graphic, tracker aggro trucks and union wheels. Really stoked on it.
